The pressure of governing a state and fighting its previous leader has obviously gotten to Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike as he was caught sleeping during a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) retreat in the state.
Wike has been involved in a war of words with his predecessor, Rotimi Amaechi after alleging that the latter vandalized the Government House before vacating it.
The
governor was pictured dozing during the retreat, which began on Monday,
June 1, 2015, and is titled “The Role of Opposition in Facilitating
Development and Good Governance.”
The retreat was organized for PDP lawmakers-elect and is holding in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers.
